Before pursuing law, Alan Vaitzman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brooklyn College in 2016. This background in human behavior and family dynamics informs his approach to estate planning and dispute resolution — helping him navigate the emotional complexity that often accompanies estate matters.

Alan earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2021, where he developed expertise in trusts and estates, Surrogate's Court practice, and civil litigation. Prior to becoming a Senior Associate Attorney at New York Estate Legacy Lawyers, he gained valuable experience in civil litigation at Levin Law Group.

Alan has extensive experience in New York Surrogate's Court, handling will contests, fiduciary litigation, kinship hearings, accounting proceedings, partition actions, and discovery disputes. He represents both petitioners and respondents in contested estate matters.

Based at 299 Broadway in Lower Manhattan, Alan serves clients across all five boroughs and surrounding counties. He is committed to providing clear, accessible legal guidance that empowers clients to make informed decisions about their estates and their families' futures.
